Avi Samudrala – One Of The Most Respectable Online Businessmen
Avi Samudrala is easily one of the most respectable online businessmen. He has repeatedly demonstrated his commitment to excellence in everything he has done, be it business or academics. Not every businessman can make the same sort of claim. Mr. Samudrala has a background in business education that has been extremely helpful to him. He was fortunate enough to attend Goizueta Business School, the business school of Emory University. That top-notch education prepared him very well for a future in business—his business career should be a testament to the efficacy of that school.
Samudrala worked in a number of places immediately after graduating from Emory. He worked at AEA Investors, a private equity firm, for two years as an associate before leaving to found AskSunday.com. In November of 2006 Avi Samudrala and his good friend Steve Ludmer first had the ideas of founding an Internet-based company called AskSunday.com. From then until July of 2007 they were preparing the website and business for launch. That July they began offering services and officially launched. AskSunday.com offers online access to a pool of personal assistants who are available around the clock, 24/7. When individuals use AskSunday.com, they do not hire personal assistants to follow them around. Rather, they are using the marvel of modern technology to hire a personal assistant who is usually halfway around the world. This is a service that is rendered for just a small monthly fee by AskSunday.com.
